The show had now changed its name from Crazy People to "The Goon Show, featuring those crazy people…"

Show 33 (aka Handsome Harry’s Dream) is an episode from The Goon Show. It is the sixteenth show in the second series.

The show recording session was on Sunday, 11 May 1952 at 9pm and was recorded at The Playhouse Theatre, Northumberland Avenue, Central London.

The first British public broadcast was on the Home Service on Tuesday, 13 May 1952 at 9.30pm (except Northern Ireland). It reached a peak listenership of 2.2m.

The show's repeat was broadcast the following Thursday at 7.30pm, 15 May 1952 on the Light Programme to an audience of 4.0 million listeners.

• Handsome Harry’s Dream: On trial for singing sees Harry recount how he was prosecuted before Mr Sellers in the court of Mr Justice Bentine;
• High Goon is a Western epic for radio in which Filthmuck Gulch needs a new sheriff to face Tiger McGoon;
• Pureheart: the Gorilla Hunter sees Pureheart recall the events of the previous month when he, Professor Crun and Major Bloodnok undertook an intrepid adventure to capture a giant gorilla for a zoo which was short of specimens.

• The Goons sing Jimmy Grafton’s parodies of the Funiculì, Funiculà (Luigi Denza), Chi mi frena in tal momento (Gaetano Donizetti), Habanera (Georges Bizet), Largo al factotum (Gioachino Rossini), La donna è mobile (Giuseppe Verdi), Libiamo ne' lieti calici (Giuseppe Verdi).
• Max Geldray performed Indian Love Call (Rudolf Friml/Herbert Stothart).
• The Ray Ellington Quartet played Louise (Richard A. Whiting/Leo Robin) and Infernal Galop (Jacques Offenbach).
