The powerful drama, ''Crime Doesn't Pay… Income Tax!'', relates to the stange case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Crun. In the year 1953, a fearsome [[w:Crime Wave|crimewave|]] of attacks by a mysterious fiend in human shape known as The Clanger. Fearless Harry Secombe is summoned to see Mr Crun at Fred's Nosh and Wash Club in the changing room of Hymie's Wrestling Gym, and hears the tragic story of what happened when Crun was engaged in a sinister scientific experiment… transforming him into Dr Jekyll Bluebottle (so named to fit in with the book).
