It is the twelfth show in the Vintage Goons series and was based on the series 4 episode 1 sho '[[The Dreaded Piano Clubber]]'. There was a pre-recording rehearsal show at 2pm Sunday 23 March 1958, but the show was actually recorded later at 5.15pm. Both the pre-recording and recording was done at [[KOKO (music venue)|The Camden Theatre]], London.

It was a foggy winter's night when the Piano Clubber struck down his first innocent victim, a [[Henry Crun and Minnie Bannister|Mr Henry Crun]]. Young [[Constable#United Kingdom|Constable]] [[Neddie Seagoon|Ned Seagoon]] of the [[Metropolitan Police Marine Policing Unit|River Police]] was quickly on the scene, but it was not until some fifty years later that he at last tracked down the elusive Clubber, and faced his quarry in a final showdown.

It is the twelfth show in the Vintage Goons series and was based on the series 4 episode 1 sho 'The Dreaded Piano Clubber'. Originally recorded on T1/AG/4025 (Agfa FR tape stock at 15 ips ¼" tape recorded at St. Hilda's, Maida Vale). This tape survived intact at TS and was used to create the version included on Compendium Vol 9 and CD Vol 24.[1]
