The society, in association with the [[w:Bressingham Steam and Gardens\|Bressingham Steam and Gardens]], set up the Dad's Army Collection, which was officially opened on 14 May 2000 by ''Dad's Army'' creators [[Jimmy Perry]] and [[David Croft (TV producer)\|David Croft]]. Also, [[w:Thetford\|Thetford]] (where much of the show was filmed) opened a [[Dad's Army Museum]] in 2007.
